This issue’s Featured Exhibition is Kira Freije’s outstanding solo exhibition at The approach in Bethnal Green. Freije’s sculptures have been a firm favourite of mine for sometime, and as someone with a particular penchant for post-apocalyptic imaginings, a time when everyday anxieties are replaced with a sole focus on survival, the immersive environment felt compellingly calm and instantly appealing.
